Yesterday, the ACT finally announced the test centers that will be closed for the June 13 exams. Even for those centers that will be open, many students will be displaced due to social distancing guidelines. Updates on the SAT from College Board Last week, I posted information about the University of California's decision to be test-optional for two years, then test-blind for two years. This article repeats much of that information, but scroll down to see the chart at the end; it helps clarify what's ahead.
UC and the SAT/ACT Just a small sentence that's easy to miss, but important. For students still planning to take the SAT or ACT for their UC applications, the optional writing/essay portion of these exams is no longer needed.
UC Changes to Standardized Tests - Official Announcement Given the recent issues with at-home AP exams, I can imagine that colleges will accept the SAT and ACT taken at home, even with security measures in place. Here is an article from the Boston Globe:

This is a great opportunity to listen to admissions representatives from colleges across the country. CTLC Virtual Fair via StriveScan Colleges across the country are considering their options for fall. Ithaca College announced an October start date, while Notre Dame University plans to start earlier. Here are the considerations at the University of Kentucky, from The NY Times.
College in the Fall of 2020 While most students have been able to take and submit their AP exams, many are reporting issues with the technology or the inability to complete to make their final submission. This definitely will have an impact on the College Board or ACT as they consider "at home" testing for the longer SAT and ACT exams.
