The Coast to Coast College Tour, featuring UC Berkeley, Dartmouth University, Northwestern University, Princeton University, and Vanderbilt University, will be visiting Southern California and the Los Angeles area on October 1. Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Stanford, University of Pennsylvania - Exploring College Options4/29/2018 Exploring College Options will be visiting the Los Angeles area during May. This is an opportunity to attend an evening of presentations from each of these universities, learn what they look for in their applicants, what distinctive programs they offer, and lots of other college-related information. Sign up in advance as these presentations often fill up.
www.exploringcollegeoptions.org The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will be hosting college fairs across the county during the spring months, In Southern California, there will be fairs in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Ventura Tri-County area. College fairs are a great way to see the variety of college options and meet representatives from colleges. Students can sign up in advance and receive a bar code that will be scanned at each college table. Don't forget to introduce yourself and pick up a business card from the admissions representatives! The University of Pennsylvania will be in Pasadena on Sunday, September 24 at 3 pm. key.admissions.upenn.edu/portal/penn-in-your-town?id=61e4b6c4-6f7a-4012-8edf-637ee0eaa7a9 Penn, along with Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, and Stanford will present Exploring College Options in Santa Barbara on Thursday, September 28 at 7 pm. Might be a long drive for those of you in Los Angeles and they may have another similar presentation in spring that is closer. These colleges will be hosting an information session near LAX on Tuesday evening, September 26. Sign up early as these sessions tend to fill up quickly. The only other Southern California presentations will be in San Diego and Riverside.

These schools hope to build "the knowledge, character and values of young people by introducing them to a personalized and transformative collegiate experience."
