The Coast to Coast College Tour, featuring UC Berkeley, Dartmouth University, Northwestern University, Princeton University, and Vanderbilt University, will be visiting Southern California and the Los Angeles area on October 1.  This program will provide the opportunity to learn about each college and their admissions process.  Students and families can sign up here:  apply.dartmouth.edu/register/LAC2C-F18

Exploring College Options will be visiting the Los Angeles area during May.  This is an opportunity to attend an evening of presentations from each of these universities, learn what they look for in their applicants, what distinctive programs they offer, and lots of other college-related information.  Sign up in advance as these presentations often fill up.

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) will be hosting college fairs across the county during the spring months,  In Southern California, there will be fairs in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, and the Ventura Tri-County area.  College fairs are a great way to see the variety of college options and meet representatives from colleges.  Students can sign up in advance and receive a bar code that will be scanned at each college table.  Don't forget to introduce yourself and pick up a business card from the admissions representatives!  Check out this link for the fair closest to you.

Colleges That Change Lives is a unique consortium of smaller, liberal arts colleges with unique programs or approaches to learning.  These schools hope to build "the knowledge, character and values of young people by introducing them to a personalized and transformative collegiate experience."  Two college fairs will be held on Sunday, July 30 at the Hilton Hotel, Universal City.  Other locations are available in San Diego and Santa Clara.  Check out their website:  ctcl.org/events-all/
