The University of Pennsylvania will be in Pasadena on Sunday, September 24 at 3 pm.

The Coast to Coast College Tour, featuring UC Berkeley, Dartmouth, Northwestern, Princeton, and Vanderbilt, will be going to Southern California in September.  These colleges will be hosting an information session near LAX on Tuesday evening, September 26.  Sign up early as these sessions tend to fill up quickly.  The only other Southern California presentations will be in San Diego and Riverside.

Students with financial need (generally defined at less than $55,000 in family income by this organization) who demonstrate leadership skills and resilience should look at this foundation's national and state scholarships.  The application is now available and due October 25, 2017.

The Coca Cola Scholars Foundation scholarship application is now available and due October 31, 2017.  This is an achievement-based scholarship, recognizing student leaders who have also made an impact on their school or community.

Glad to see that UC Irvine reinstated the students whose transcripts may not have been received in time.  And a reminder to all incoming high school seniors that your senior grades do matter, so start the school year strong and continue to the end!
